Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A fine Lladró glazed porcelain figurine entitled Fragrances and Colors (original Spanish title: Fragancias y Colores), model number 6866. The piece depicts a graceful young woman in a classic wide-brimmed lavender-blue hat and a long, flowing white dress accented with a deep purple sash. She is posed holding a draped lavender shawl filled with a cluster of delicately handcrafted, multicoloured porcelain flowers. The skirt of the dress features subtle, hand-painted grey and pink floral vine motifs. The base features the standard blue Lladró backstamp: LLADRÓ / J2J 98 / HAND MADE IN SPAIN / © DAISA 2001. Several incised and impressed production marks are present on the underside, including the model number 6866, S 9 H, and a diamond symbol containing a B. Height: 33 cm.
