Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A Lladró porcelain figurine of a Basset Hound, model number 1068, designed by the artist Juan Huerta. The dog is depicted in a standing pose, looking back over its right shoulder with one of its long ears flipped over its head. The piece is finished in a high-gloss glaze with tri-colour markings in shades of white, tan, and blue-grey. The underside features the standard blue underglaze backstamp with the Lladró bell flower logo, LLADRÓ, and HAND MADE IN SPAIN, alongside incised markings B and 11 S. This model was originally issued in 1969 and retired in 1990. Height: approximately 8 cm.
