Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A Lladró high-glaze polychrome porcelain figurine titled Honey Bunny, also known as Honey Lickers, model number 5482. Sculpted by Juan Huerta and originally issued in 1988, the scene depicts a young girl with her hair in pigtails, wearing a mauve-coloured dress, seated and holding a ceramic pot inscribed with MIEL. She is surrounded by three playful Dalmatian-spotted puppies clamouring for her attention. The underside features the standard blue underglaze factory backstamp with the bellflower logo, LLADRÓ, and HAND MADE IN SPAIN. The base also includes the incised model number 5482 and various artisan production marks including a figure-eight symbol. Height: 17 cm.
