A fine Lladró high-gloss glazed porcelain figurine titled Sayonara (model number 4989), designed by sculptor Salvador Debón and produced between 1978 and 1996. The piece depicts a young Japanese woman in a traditional bowing posture with her hands pressed together. She wears a pale blue kimono decorated with subtle floral patterns in tan and blue, accented by a dark blue obi. Her hair is styled in an ornate traditional bun featuring delicate pink porcelain flowers. The underside bears the blue Lladró factory mark with the bellflower logo, LLADRÓ, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and © DAISA 1978. Additional incised marks include the model number 4989, E-2 M, a diamond symbol containing the number 3, and a stylized M. Height: 27 cm.
