Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A fine porcelain commemorative plate by Lladró, Spain, issued for Mother’s Day (Dia de la Madre) in 1973. The piece features a central circular medallion in a matte white bisque finish, decorated with a high-relief moulded scene of a mother embracing two children. The wide rim is finished in a smooth, pale blue glaze, accented by a delicate gilt inner border. The lower section of the rim bears the blue printed inscription Dia de la Madre 1973. This item is presented in its original brown branded presentation box with protective foam inserts. The box is marked LLADRÓ HAND MADE IN SPAIN. Diameter: Approximately 20 cm.
