Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A vintage porcelain collector plate by Lladró, Spain, issued for Mother’s Day 1976. The circular plate features a central matte white biscuit porcelain bas-relief scene, known as Tender Vigil, depicting a mother in a domestic setting watching over a sleeping infant in a cot. This central medallion is framed by a delicate gold-tone band and a wide, glossy light-blue glazed rim. The lower border is inscribed in stylised blue script with Dia de la Madre 1976. The piece reflects the soft, sentimental aesthetic characteristic of the factory’s 1970s production. Includes original box
