Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A finely detailed Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled treasures of the earth model number 6153. Designed by sculptor José Puche and first issued in 1994, the piece depicts a young woman in a flowing, pale blue-tinted white gown with a delicate pink floral vine motif encircling the hem. She is captured in a graceful pose, carrying an open box filled with an abundance of intricately hand-formed porcelain flowers in shades of lavender, white, and yellow, while holding a single matching blossom in her left hand. Her long brown hair is styled with a sense of movement, as if caught in a light breeze. The base typically bears the blue Lladró tulip handmade-in-Spain stamp, along with various incised factory and decorator marks. Height: 30 cm.
