Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A large and finely detailed Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled Reclining Clown (Spanish: Payaso Acostado), model number 4618. Originally sculpted by Salvador Furió and issued in 1970, this piece depicts a contemplative circus clown lying on his stomach, propping his head with one hand while balancing a blue and white patterned ball on his feet. The figure is finished in a soft colour palette of tan, grey, and brown with classic white-face makeup. The base bears the blue stamped Lladró factory mark with the bellflower logo, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and DAISA, alongside the incised model number 4618 and stamped code VZ 17 C. This lot is accompanied by its original factory box and Lladró Assurance Programme (LAP) documentation. Height approximately 6.25 inches.
