This lot comprises three vintage toys, featuring a traditional jointed teddy bear and two boxed marionettes by Pelham Puppets of Marlborough, Wiltshire. The teddy bear is crafted from light tan mohair fur with amber-coloured eyes and black hand-stitched facial features and claws. It is fully jointed at the limbs and head, featuring a metal grommet on the back indicating an internal growler mechanism. The first Pelham Puppet is a Caterpillar marionette with a painted composition head, a plush multi-coloured segmented body in red, pink, and purple, and a wooden control bar. It is housed in its original yellow cardboard box with the end flap labelled Caterpillar and includes the original illustrated instructions. The second is a Pelham Puppet Clown marionette featuring a painted composition head, a multi-coloured polka-dot fabric costume, a yellow felt hat, and a wooden control bar, also housed in its original yellow cardboard box.
