A vintage Vest Pocket Autographic Kodak folding camera, manufactured by the Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd. in Toronto, Canada. Serial number 14953. This model, historically recognised as the Soldier’s Camera of the First World War era, is designed for 127 Autographic roll film. It is equipped with a Meniscus Achromatic lens featuring a four-stop aperture scale (numbered 1 through 4) and a Kodak Ball Bearing Shutter with settings for Time, Bulb, 1/25, and 1/50 seconds. The construction consists of a metal body with a black textured finish, nickel-plated brass struts, and black leather bellows. The rear of the camera features the autographic door, allowing the user to write information directly onto the film margin. Included is the original brown leather carrying case featuring an embossed Kodak brass snap button.
