Buyer's Premium:

This item is a static scale display model of the 19th-century steam tugboat Sanson, likely constructed from a kit such as those produced by Artesanía Latina. The model features a plank-on-frame wooden hull with a natural wood-stained lower section and a black-painted upper section, divided by a light-wood rub rail. The deck is constructed from individual wooden planks and is detailed with various maritime fittings including a grey-painted forward winch with brass-toned accents and metal chains, black bollards, and a central cabin structure finished in natural wood with inset windows. A prominent black funnel with a central red band is positioned amidships, supported by wire rigging. The upper deck carries two lifeboats covered in green fabric. A single black mast is located forward of the cabin with standing and running rigging. The stern is fitted with a three-bladed brass-coloured propeller and a wooden rudder with brass-toned hinges. The model is mounted on two wooden supports fixed to a rectangular dark-stained wooden display base. The name SANSON is visible on clear labels applied to the bow and stern, and a black serif-font plaque on the base also identifies the vessel.
