A British Victorian-style brass kettle of bulbous form, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The body is constructed from brass and features three parallel incised horizontal lines around the shoulder. The kettle includes a cast gooseneck spout and a broad, flat-section swing handle secured to the body with rounded, cast brackets. It is complete with a stepped, domed lid surmounted by a turned brass finial. The interior shows evidence of a metallic lining, now darkened. No maker’s marks are visible on the base or body. While similar in form to domestic metalware produced by various late 19th-century manufacturers, this example remains unattributed.
