Buyer's Premium:

A collection of Victorian volumes comprising a bound periodical and a medical reference set. The first work is The Sunday Magazine, edited by the Rev. Benjamin Waugh and published in London by Isbister and Company Limited in 1884. This volume includes illustrations by artists such as Giacomelli, Doré, Riou, Small, Barraud, W. S. Stacey, W. Bothams, and J. Bell. It is bound in half-leather with textured cloth boards, featuring a spine with raised bands and gilt decorative tooling. The text block edges are finished with a marbled pattern. The second component is a set of volumes titled The Family Physician. These are uniformly bound in brown publisher’s cloth with ornate gilt and blind-stamped decorative spines. The spines feature gilt lettering and volume numbering in Roman numerals. Both works are octavo in size.
