A mid-20th-century refractor telescope set by Prinz Optics, Model No. 100. The instrument features a white enamel finished tube with black metal and plastic fittings, including a manual focusing knob. It is mounted on a York mount and supported by a dark-stained wooden tripod with black-painted metal brackets and functional locking hardware. The telescope body bears a circular green inspection sticker marked PASSED from the Japan Telescope Inspection Institute. The original cardboard box is present, bearing the red Prinz Optics shield logo and text identifying it as an Astral Varipower Telescope with 60 Power magnification. Specifications on the box indicate settings of 15x30x45x60x60mm. The set includes the main telescope tube, objective lens cap, and the complete adjustable tripod.
