A pair of glazed porcelain figurines depicting female golfers, comprising one Lladro example and one Nao by Lladro example. The Lladro figurine, identified as Lady Golfer (model 4851), depicts a figure in a brown ribbed sweater and white skirt leaning over a golf ball. The underside of the base features the under-glaze blue Lladro maker’s mark and incised marks including I-13 E. The second figurine, a Nao by Lladro model identified as Out of the Rough (model 0450), depicts a golfer in a follow-through swing wearing a light green sleeveless sweater and white skirt. The base is marked with a brown Nao stamp, Hand Made in Spain by Lladro, and a DAISA 1984 copyright. It also features the incised model number 0450 and a handwritten inscription in black marker reading PAT LADY CAPTAIN DAY 2000. Both pieces are finished in a high-gloss glaze with a characteristic muted pastel colour palette.
