A pair of naturalistic donkey figurines by Country Artists, Stratford-upon-Avon, England. The set comprises one larger standing donkey and one smaller foal. Both figures are constructed from hand-painted resin and feature detailed, textured fur modeling. The figurines are finished in shades of grey and brown with darker manes and tail tips. The smaller foal is mounted on an integral base depicting a patch of grass, which is further set upon an oval dark-stained wooden plinth.
The underside of the larger figurine features two labels. A rectangular label is inscribed: CA 207 / Donkey / Country Artists / Hand Crafted in England. A circular label features a stylized CA monogram and is inscribed: “Country Artists” / Stratford – upon – Avon / England. Both figurines have green felt protectors on the base.
