A modern reproduction of a 14th-century sugarloaf style great helm, identified by accompanying documentation as a Knights Templar medieval Crusader design. The helmet is manufactured from polished stainless steel with brass-toned metal reinforcements. It features a pointed crown and a cylindrical faceplate riveted to the main skull. A cruciform brass-effect plate reinforces the narrow horizontal eye slits and the central vertical axis. The lower section of the faceplate is perforated with multiple circular ventilation holes. The interior is coated in black paint. This item is a contemporary piece suitable for display or re-enactment.
