A vintage sheepskin flight jacket by Polden Sheepskins of Somerset, Great Britain. The garment is constructed in the B-3 aviator style from heavyweight dark brown leather with a thick natural tan shearling wool interior. It features a multi-panel design with contrasting dark leather welted seam taping throughout for reinforcement. The jacket includes a large shearling-lined collar with a leather throat latch and metal buckle. The front closure is a heavy-duty brass-tone metal zipper. Two diagonal welted handwarmer pockets are located at the front. The waist is fitted with dual side-adjustment straps featuring leather buckles and metal eyelets. The sleeves terminate in roll-back shearling cuffs, each equipped with a small metal zipper. The interior bears a white label with red and black text reading Exclusively hand cut and tailored by Polden Sheepskins of Somerset MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN, with a secondary size tab marked M.
