An assortment of British salt-glazed stoneware and refined earthenware vessels, including graduated jugs, pitchers, and mugs, produced in the style of prominent Staffordshire potteries such as Wedgwood, Adams, and Dudson. The collection features a variety of body colours including cobalt blue, light blue, and dark brown dip-glazed finishes. Each piece is decorated using the sprigging technique, featuring applied white clay relief motifs. Decorative themes include classical scenes depicting sacrifice and cupid motifs, high-relief floral bouquets, and botanical bands of grapevine, oak leaves, and acanthus. A notable piece within the collection is a blue stoneware jug featuring a white sprigged serpent or dragon-form spout and handle with gilded accents. Other items include large pitchers with floral sprays and smaller creamers and beakers with geometric lattice or lace bands around the necks. The items represent traditional mid-to-late 19th-century British domestic production.
