An Art Deco serving tray, early 20th century, featuring a decorative parquetry-style collage of iridescent butterfly wings, likely Morpho, set under glass. The wings are arranged into three circular motifs, with a whole butterfly specimen positioned at the centre of the middle design. The rectangular dark wood frame is decorated with a carved, wavy stepped pattern and includes two integral shaped handles. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
