An Audiolab 8000A stereo integrated amplifier manufactured by Cambridge Systems Technology Ltd in Huntingdon, England. The unit is housed in a dark grey metal chassis. The front control panel features rotary dials for input selection, record selection, bass, treble, balance, and volume. Input labels include Tape 1, Tape 2, Phono, Tuner, and CD/disc. The fascia also includes a tone defeat switch, a speaker output selector, and a red power indicator LED. The rear panel is equipped with multiple gold-plated RCA line-level inputs, pre-amplifier outputs, and power-amplifier inputs.
