This lot features three mid-20th-century earthenware art pottery vessels of West German origin. The first is a baluster-form vase with a flared rim, decorated with relief-moulded geometric bands of triangles, circles, and zig-zag motifs in a matte cream and olive green glaze. The underside is incised with the marks W.-GERMANY, 312, and 18. The second is an ovoid vase manufactured by Bay Keramik, featuring a central textured band of impressed floral motifs in a matte oatmeal glaze, contrasted by glossy mottled dark olive green and brown glazes at the shoulder and base. The base is marked in relief with BAY, W.-GERMANY, and 990 – 14. The third is a bulbous jug by Ruscha Keramik with a single loop handle, decorated with a hand-applied marbled glaze in swirling tones of pink, grey, and brown. The base bears the stamped Ruscha cloud mark and the model number 306.
