A collection of seven contemporary novelty figurines crafted from hand-painted cast resin, resembling the Magnificent Meerkats range by Country Artists. The figures depict meerkats in a variety of historical, military, and professional roles, each mounted on an integral base designed to look like natural ground or stone. The subjects include: a Robin Hood-style archer in a green tunic with a bow and quiver; a Victorian-style firefighter in a black coat and gold-coloured helmet holding a hose; a sailor in a nautical uniform and peaked cap standing at a ship’s wheel; a naturalistic pair featuring a standing sentry with a smaller pup at its feet; an army officer in a khaki WWI-style service uniform; a British police officer in a traditional custodian helmet shown in a saluting pose; and a colonial soldier wearing a redcoat tunic and a white pith helmet. The figurines feature detailed textures simulating fur and fabric with a matte painted finish.
