Notable vessels depicted include tankers such as the Esso Hythe, featuring the distinctive Esso funnel livery, the Esso Wythe, Fina America, and a large-format colour print of the Wotan. Cargo and bulk carriers represented include the Holstenbank, Goslar, Norbalt, and Frubel Prinses Paola. Several prints are the work of specialist maritime aerial photography firms, specifically Skyfotos Ltd. and FotoFlite, known for their high-altitude detail, with one piece bearing a partial Maritime Press marking.
