A collection of vintage brass and metal desk accessories and novelty items. The grouping includes two brass money boxes: one in the form of a classic British pillar box featuring a mounted plaque inscribed BANK, and another designed as a milk churn with twin side handles and a coin slot to the lid. The milk churn bank is stamped near the base with the British Registered Design number RD 694628, dating the design to 1922. Also included is a brass cricket-themed desk ornament featuring a bat resting against a set of three stumps with a small spherical ball, all mounted on a single rectangular base. The collection further contains a small, dark-patinated metal dish in the form of an elephant and a novelty hand grenade with a textured dark green finish and metal lever mechanism. The grenade is hollow and contains a length of coiled copper wire. Materials include cast and sheet brass and dark-finished metal.
