This lot consists of two contemporary paintings executed in acrylic on stretched canvas. The first work is a vertically oriented, high-contrast graphic portrait of a male figure. The composition is rendered in a limited palette of black, white, and grey, featuring flat, opaque application of paint in a style reminiscent of mid-20th-century Pop Art.
The second work is a horizontally oriented composition depicting a fantastical celestial scene. It features a purple serpentine creature with draconic features set against a cosmic backdrop. Elements within the scene include a blue planet, a small white moon, and a radiant orange sun in the upper right corner. This piece shows a more layered and blended paint application, including fine white vein-like detailing in the lower section of the creature.
Both works are presented unframed on stretched canvases. There are no visible signatures, dates, or maker marks on the front of either canvas.
