A Collection of Volumes comprising science fiction magazines and softcover activity books, primarily published in 1978. The collection includes the first issue of Asimov’s SF Adventure Magazine (Fall 1978), published by Davis Publications, New York, . Also included are four issues of Future magazine (Nos. 3, 4, 5, and 6), published by Starlog Press; three issues of Starburst magazine (Vol. 1, Nos. 1, 4, and 6), published by Marvel Monthly (UK); and four issues of Starlog magazine (Nos. 16, 17, 18, and the Hollywood Halloween special). The lot further contains two Project Sword softcover paper model books: The Scramble Bug and The Sand Fleer and The Snow Train and The Hover Tank. All items are in quarto format with staple-bound pictorial wrappers. The magazines are profusely illustrated in colour and black and white, featuring prominent science fiction franchises including Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and The Incredible Hulk. A notable feature of the Project Sword volumes is the presence of intact, uncut full-colour paper model sheets for the featured vehicles.
