Subject matter includes views of the Tyne Bridge from Gateshead, aerial views of the River Tyne mouth at Tynemouth and South Shields, an industrial scene of cranes at a Tyne shipyard, and a harbour scene depicting Scottish fishing trawlers with registrations KY.287 and AR.47. Also included is a Royal Mail mint stamp presentation pack titled Fishing from the British Boats of the Past series.
The lot includes a porcelain W. Goebel Hummel figurine depicting a young girl sitting on a fence with a basket. The base carries the blue V and bee mark used between 1960 and 1972, marked W. Germany with an incised 1960 date mark.
Advertising items comprise a Guinness embossed multi-tool pocket knife and a Sichel Blue Nun German Wines waiter’s friend corkscrew. Further components of the lot include a modern quartz wall clock with a dark wood-effect dial and large Arabic numerals, a pair of 8×21 binoculars with fully coated optics, an antique-style cast iron flat iron, a teardrop-shaped ceramic vase with green and brown drip-glaze, a vintage plastic novelty mechanical Bavarian-style outhouse toy, and a small wooden wall-mounting bracket. Completing the lot is a boxed Carmen 2-in-1 health and beauty set featuring a massager and facial cleansing brush.
