This die-cast model vehicle represents a Hudson Hornet Sedan, produced by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd) in England. The model is finished in a two-tone colour scheme featuring a yellow body with a contrasting dark grey roof and matching grey side flashes. It features silver-painted detailing on the front grille, bumpers, and headlights, with red-painted tail lights. The model is constructed with interior windows as noted on the packaging and is fitted with white rubber tyres on silver-finished metal hubs. The underside of the black-painted die-cast baseplate is embossed with DINKY TOYS, HUDSON HORNET, MADE IN ENGLAND, and MECCANO LTD, with the model number 174 cast into the side. The model is accompanied by its original yellow and red cardboard box, which is printed with DINKY TOYS, the model number 174 inside a red oval, and HUDSON HORNET SEDAN (WITH WINDOWS). A pencil mark reading 3/5 is present on one end flap.
