This lot comprises two die-cast metal models produced by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd). The first model is a No. 688 Field Artillery Tractor, based on the Morris Commercial C8 Quad. The vehicle is finished in olive green with matching metal hubs and black rubber tyres. It features a roof-mounted spare wheel and a rear towing hook. The underside is embossed with Made in England, 688, Dinky Toys, Field Artillery Tractor, and Meccano Ltd. It is housed in its original yellow card box with multi-language identification on the end flaps. The second model is a No. 429 Trailer, finished in dark green with green metal hubs and black rubber tyres. It features a pivoting front axle. The underside is embossed with Meccano Ltd, Dinky Toys, and Made in England. It includes its original yellow card box which features a green circular sticker to one end flap indicating the model colour.
