A collection of United Kingdom commemorative two-pound (£2) coins struck in nickel-brass. The collection includes various reverse designs issued between 1986 and 1996. The obverses all feature the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf, with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D and the denomination TWO POUNDS. The reverse designs include the 1986 Commonwealth Games thistle, two 1989 coins for the Tercentenary of the Bill of Rights and the Claim of Right, the 1994 Bank of England tercentenary, the 1995 50th Anniversary of the United Nations, the 1995 End of WWII Peace commemorative, and the 1996 European Football Championship. The coins feature milled edges with incuse inscriptions. The set is presented in a black plastic display tray within a clear protective case.
