A collection of British military memorabilia and sporting awards primarily related to the service of Sergeant Richard Dick Watson, B.E.M. The group features five sporting medals including a hallmarked sterling silver 1956 Royal Tournament medal for Bayonet Combat awarded to A.C. R.N. Watson at R.A.F. St. Athan, with London hallmarks for 1955. Also included is a bronze 1956 Royal Tournament medal for the same event, a star-shaped 1956 R.A.F. boxing medal awarded at R.A.F. Ballykelly, a 1958 silver-tone boxing winner medal for Light Middleweight, and a 1958 bronze Inter-Command boxing runner-up medallion. The collection includes a desk ornament comprising a cast metal running fox on a green onyx base, with an inscribed plate addressed to Sgt Dick Watson from Flt Lt Jock Fox, M.B.E., B.E.M., with the valediction Happy Landings. Cloth insignia consists of a bullion and silk thread embroidered Royal Army Ordnance Corps blazer badge, a Royal Air Force Parachute Jump Instructor (PJI) brevet, and a crown rank patch.
