A collection of coins and commemorative medals primarily from the UK. The group includes several cupro-nickel commemorative crowns, notably the 1977 Silver Jubilee crown, the 1972 Silver Wedding crown, and the 1953 Coronation crown. A trio of enamelled pre-decimal coins is present in plastic capsules, comprising a 1967 penny with polychrome Britannia, a 1967 halfpenny depicting the Golden Hind, and a 1967 threepence with a red portcullis. The collection features a 2011 UK Olympic Aquatics heptagonal fifty-pence coin. Medallic items include a gold-coloured German commemorative medal for the 25th anniversary of the Nepomukfest in Neuenburg am Rhein (1968-1993) and two cast base-metal art medals depicting a swimmer in relief. Also included is an assortment of circulated pre-decimal British coins of Elizabeth II and George VI, including sixpences, shillings, and pennies, some of which are held in a vintage plastic presentation folder. Visible inscriptions include ELIZABETH II D G REG F D, GEORGIVS VI D G BR OMN REX, and NEUENBURG AM RHEIN.
