A collection of seven vintage wooden figurines in the mid-century Danish style, accompanied by a rectangular souvenir tin box. The figurines are primarily constructed from turned and carved wood, featuring natural and dyed fur elements, cork, and metal components. The assembly includes a Viking figure with a silver-toned metal helmet, a long fur beard, and a wooden shield, reminiscent of designs by Jacob Jensen. Also present is a penguin-like figure featuring a black-painted wooden body, a light-coloured fur ruff, and a cork beak. The set further comprises three small troll or gnome figures with dark fur bodies and pointed wooden hats, two with black-stained horns and one with natural wood horns, some mounted on flat ski-like bases. Completing the group are a figure with vibrant red fur hair and a taller figure with blonde fur. The lithographed tin box displays various London landmarks, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the Tower of London, interspersed with heraldic shields. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the items.
