A Westclox Big Ben Repeater mechanical alarm clock, produced in the 1960s. This model features a circular chrome-plated case mounted on a weighted tulip-style pedestal base. The reverse of the clock case is finished in blue enamel. The face features a blue sunburst dial with white Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, interspersed with gold-tone dot markers. It is fitted with tapered white metal hour and minute hands featuring luminescent inserts, a central alarm hand, and a sub-seconds pointer. The dial is printed with the marks Big Ben, REPEATER, WESTCLOX, and SCOTLAND at the base. The blue reverse plate is stamped MADE IN SCOTLAND and features dual winding keys for time and alarm, setting knobs, a regulator slot marked with plus and minus symbols, and an alarm shut-off lever with a bell icon.
