An Art Deco floor-standing smoker’s stand constructed from cast, turned, and spun brass. The top features a deep circular ashtray bowl with four integrated cigarette or cigar rests. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with an embossed repeating sunburst or fan motif. The bowl is supported by a slender tubular brass pillar which incorporates a central circular tray. The stand terminates in a weighted, stepped circular base. Included with the stand is an associated leather accessory strap, featuring two cast brass heraldic lion passant motifs and a small, centrally mounted brass bowl. No maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the exterior or accessible interior surfaces of the stand or the associated leather strap. An internal mounting bracket with two holes is present inside the top bowl, likely originally intended for a handle or an internal mechanism.
