This collection comprises an assortment of vintage kitchenware and promotional merchandise featuring Fred the Flour Grader, the signature character for the British flour brand Homepride. The group includes items made from ceramic, metal, and plastic. A large oval metal tray with a scalloped edge features a multi-coloured illustration titled Flourgraders Annual Outing on a Seaside Special bus, with printed text at the base reading Made by Baret Ware © Spillers Limited 1980 By courtesy of Homepride Flour. A circular blue and white metal storage tin displays the text Home Made with Homepride and a repeating Fred pattern. Ceramic components include a two-piece lidded butter dish, a pair of rectangular shakers for Self-Raising and Plain flour, an egg-shaped shaker with Fred and chef illustrations, and a spoon rest marked with kitchen conversion tables and signed Fred. Also present is a ceramic egg cup in the form of the Fred character standing on a black base. Additional items include a black plastic memo board with a character head, a green pin-back badge with the text Can You Resist Those Come-To-Fred Eyes?, and a knitted black and white pom-pom cosy.
