A vintage maritime model depicting a two-masted vessel, likely a brig or schooner, presented within a glazed wooden display case. The ship features a black-painted hull with a red keel and is rigged with multiple lines and blocks. The sails are constructed from a yellowed material, possibly parchment or treated fabric, showing age-related toning. The rectangular display case is fashioned from a dark hardwood with finger-jointed corners and a glass front panel. The side panels of the case incorporate decorative circular ventilation holes. Two brass hanging loops are attached to the top for wall mounting. A rectangular area of lighter wood on the lower front rail indicates where an identification plaque was formerly attached.
