A mid-20th-century vintage child’s kick scooter, manufactured in England by Sunbeam under the Raleigh brand. The scooter is constructed with a red-painted tubular metal frame and features a textured grey cast metal footplate. It is equipped with twin vertical handlebar uprights terminating in white textured plastic grips marked Dare Brand on the collars. The two wheels consist of solid black rubber tyres on metal rims, which are finished in white paint with a decorative red sunburst pattern. The design includes a rear foot-operated friction brake and a folding metal kickstand. The frame features a central oval decal between the handlebars with a yellow background bearing the text A RALEIGH PRODUCT. The front steering housing displays an oval decal with a blue and red crown above a red sunburst, inscribed SUNBEAM and ENGLAND.
