A framed colour reproduction print after the original 1928 oil painting by Laurence Stephen Lowry (British, 1887–1976), titled Coming Home from the Mill. The composition features an industrial landscape in Northern England, populated with the artist’s characteristic matchstick figures, a horse-drawn cart, and large brick factory buildings with multiple smoking chimneys. The image bears a plate-printed signature and date L.S. LOWRY, 1928 in the lower left corner. The print is housed in a dark wood frame with a forest green mount featuring a gilt-edged inner border. A printed identification label is set into a window in the lower centre of the mount, reading COMING HOME FROM THE MILL by L. S Lowry.
