A circular presentation dish crafted from sterling silver featuring a central repousse medallion. The central high-relief image depicts a seated figure of Saint Valerius, the patron saint of Zaragoza, in ecclesiastical robes and a mitre, holding a crozier and two keys. The figure is flanked by two coats of arms: to the left, the arms of the Kingdom of Aragon, and to the right, the lion rampant of Zaragoza. The scene is set upon a stylized tiled floor. Surrounding the medallion is a circular border with the Latin inscription STUDIUM GENERALE CIVITATIS CAESARAUGUSTANAE, signifying the University of Zaragoza. The dish possesses a wide, polished rim finished with an applied decorative border of concentric lines and overlapping angled bands. Stamped marks are visible on the central medallion, including the silver fineness mark 925 to the left of the mitre, a small triangular assay mark to the right, and the letters S and P located beneath the respective heraldic shields.
