A circular pewter bowl produced for Liberty and Co of London as part of their Tudric range. The shallow vessel features a central circular enamel well displaying graduated shades of peacock blue and green. The broad, sloping rim is decorated with embossed, stylised foliate and floral motifs with sinuous stems, interspersed with eight small pierced apertures. This design, model number 0546, is identified as the work of Archibald Knox. The underside of the base bears several stamped marks: a single digit 4 at the top, a double-struck MADE IN ENGLAND stamp, the word TUDRIC within quotation marks, and the model number 0546. Hand-incised characters including P3/13/25 are also present near the lower edge of the base.
