A framed ceramic panel comprising three vertically arranged rectangular earthenware tiles, depicting Our Lady of Montserrat (Ntra Sra de Montserrat), the patron saint of Catalonia. The artwork is hand-painted in a decorative style that mimics leaded stained glass, characterised by bold black outlines and a vibrant palette of cobalt blue, emerald green, ochre, and deep red glazes, with gold-toned lustre highlights. The central figures represent the Black Madonna enthroned with the Christ Child on her lap, both crowned and set against a celestial background featuring stars and a multi-coloured halo. The base of the scene is embellished with foliage and berries. Hand-painted inscriptions at the bottom read Ntra Sra de MONTSERRAT. Above the inscription box is a small painted monogram consisting of a cross over the intertwined letters H and R, attributed to the workshop of Hijos de Ramos Rejano, Seville. The tiles are housed in a simple mitred wooden frame.
