A collection of fourteen assorted vintage style costume jewellery brooches featuring various motifs and materials. The group includes fauna designs such as a green pavé-set frog, a turquoise and blue-toned crab, a large peacock with a multi-coloured tail and central red pear-cut stone, an enamelled butterfly, and a silver-tone butterfly with clear stones and black cabochons. Floral motifs comprise a gold-tone textured leaf spray, a silver-tone marcasite-style floral spray, a small basket of multi-coloured flowers, and an elaborate red floral cluster with Aurora Borealis accents. Celestial pieces include a silver-tone starburst set with clear stones and a blue enamelled crescent moon decorated with gold-tone stars. Additional items include a gold-tone horseshoe set with multi-coloured oval stones, a silver-tone rectangular open-frame brooch, and a novelty gold-tone stiletto shoe with a red floral accent. The brooches are constructed from gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, set with faceted glass rhinestones, paste stones, and enamel. Standard pin and safety catch mechanisms are fitted to the reverse of the pieces. Several items retain white paper string tags, one marked with the character 10.
