Estimated price: £60 - £80

Buyer's Premium:

A matching pair of late 19th or early 20th-century pharmaceutical storage jars. Each vessel is constructed from white glazed porcelain, featuring a cylindrical body that flares slightly toward the base and a matching domed lid topped with a turned finial. The jars are decorated with black transfer-printed labels in a serif typeface. One jar is inscribed VASELINE and the second is inscribed POM: CAMPHR:, an abbreviation for pomatum camphoratum. The design is characteristic of British chemist or apothecary storage from the late Victorian or Edwardian eras. No manufacturer’s marks or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces.
