A Mid-Century Modern teak salad set designed by Richard Nissen for Nissen Denmark. This trio comprises a circular salad bowl and a pair of matching long-handled serving ladles. The bowl is of flared form with a wide, flat rim and tapering sides, exhibiting staved construction. The matching ladles feature deep, circular bowls and slender handles. All pieces are executed in rich-toned teak wood with a visible grain. The base of the bowl bears the branded mark of a stylized figure on horseback within a square frame, above the text NISSEN and DENMARK ©.
