A set of four vintage glass soda syphon bottles dating from the early-to-mid 20th century, produced for Zephyr Table Waters of North Shields. The collection features heavy-walled clear glass bodies, each containing an internal glass dip tube and topped with a metal syphon head, likely cast from a pewter or lead-tin alloy, including a nozzle and lever mechanism. The glass bodies are decorated with etched or sandblasted branding. One bottle features a highly detailed design with banners reading REGISTERED and TRADE MARK above a large diagonal ZEPHYR logo, with additional text identifying the TABLE WATERS MANUFACTORY, Union Street, NORTH SHIELDS. The other three bottles display variations of the cursive Zephyr logo, with some including the North Shields and TABLE WATERS designations.
