A pair of cast bronze sculptures depicting mice in naturalistic and dynamic poses. The first figure is modelled in an upright stance on its hind legs with forepaws raised and head tilted upwards. The second figure is modelled in a scurrying pose, low to the ground with its long tail curved upwards. Both figures are cast in solid bronze and finished with a uniform dark brown patina. The underside of the standing mouse features the incised marks BRONZE and RUCHESI. The sculptures are freestanding and exhibit detailed anatomical modelling of the musculature and features.
