A Denby Ferndale pattern stoneware vase of bulbous ovoid form with a waisted neck and flared rim. The body is finished in a matte sage green glaze and is decorated with hand-applied white slip-trailing in a stylized scrolling motif. The rim is finished in a contrasting smooth reddish-brown glaze. The interior features a similar matte green finish. The base bears a stamped mark reading DENBY above MADE IN ENGLAND within a rectangular frame.
