An official studio-issued large format promotional banner for the 2000 science fiction film Mission to Mars, directed by Brian De Palma and produced by Spyglass Entertainment and Touchstone Pictures. The banner is printed on a heavy-duty, textured synthetic vinyl material designed for cinema foyer or outdoor display. The graphic design features a dominant red colour palette depicting the Martian surface with four astronauts in space suits and a planetary rover vehicle standing before a brilliant vertical beam of white light. The film title is positioned in the upper centre in large, silver-textured block lettering with black outlines. The construction includes integrated sleeves at the top and bottom edges through which wooden display poles have been inserted for hanging.
